Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

...ok, I'm mad and okay at the same time with the time skip. ...I don't know what to think of it. Good coz we got to see Babs, Cassie, Jaime, Tim and DMightwing and all but bad coz it really makes no sense. Besides, why the fuck did they have to give us Supermartian (and its cuteness from the last eps like when Kon did not even flinch when M'gann revealed her true form) and then take it away from us? I think they did so coz they need to pair Cassie and Kon together. But that's no excuse, no fucking valid excuse. And the whole thing with Raquel, I wanted more Raquel, and want to see my babies Kaldur and Artemis (I'd give anything for those two to be together and have a lot of sex unf) and Roy and Wally. Maybe Wally is in Dick's house resting? o.O ...after, y'know, all the workout

About Jaime, I know of him, yes, but not very much. But one does not need to know him, to inmediately love him ♥
And yeah, people include other languages randomly in their speech. I do. I'm a native Spanish-speaker, and finish most of my sentences, and half of the time swear, in English

Brig brother Dick and little brother Tim make me happy. And I hate the show's shipping too, the last episode' of season one's ending with everyone kissing was dumb. Every girl must pair off with a boy, it's the rules! *eyeroll*

They need to show what happened with Roy(s), from interviews with the creators it sounds like they will later on.
