Faded: to lose brightness or vividness of color. To become dim, as light, or lose brightness of illumination. To lose freshness, vigor, strength, or health: "All in faded days"Awwwww yeah, old Zutara is my favorite zutara! So OF COURSE the prompt for faded was the easiest, concept wise.
That said, DRAWING OLD PEOPLE IS DIFFICULT. but fun! After I got over the fact that they arent supposed to be pretty, I actually really liked it. on that note, shading wrinkled faces is the bees knees; there are so many places shadows can be!
this was one of the first prompts I did (I finished back in June?), and by far my favorite besides serendipity.
While watching LoK, I had a hard time enjoying it at times because every 5 minutes Im reminded that Aang and Kaytay are indeed married, and have children. I thought I would hate Tenzin because he is a cloudbaby but HFDJKHSFKLHDFHJSDHK NO HE IS SO AWESOME so Im conflicted!
So I comfort myself with thoughts of Elder!Zutara. Zuko and Katara are the only ones left alive from the original gaang, and for some reason, I find that to be a nice thought that they occasionally meet, have tea together, and reminisce about their adventures.
Also, YES I KNOW I have no talent with asian inspired furniture. or teapots. or draperies.

Same concerns with LoK, but so far I'm liking Katara's kids. What I keep thinking of though is how Katara's Grangran ended up finding love (again) late in life with Pakku. With Ang and Mai gone, I wouldn't be surprised if they finally give us the Zutara they knew alot of people wanted all along.
